Victoria will become a team coordinator, organising regular office activities such as liaising with marketing, regularly ensuring business development is on track and feeding back directly to the Office Manager. Vicki has been successfully building up to this role, overseeing the Chesterfield based science recruitment team.
With the expansion of the CK Science team based in Chesterfield, it is vital that there is someone directly overseeing them, a position which Vicki is more than capable of.

The main purpose of the Product Evaluation Engineer will be to improve the success of New Product Developments (NPD). The Product Evaluation Engineer has responsibility for the generation of documentation and conduct of testing to support the Product Evaluation Engineer activities within NPD projects. The Product Evaluation Engineer shall ensure that valid and robust data is obtained and documented during execution of validation and verification activities.
The main responsibilities of this Product Evaluation Engineer position will be to:
Produce design verification protocols, reports and perform the product testing where necessary
Design, develop and validate appropriate test method
Participate in NPD phase reviews, presenting the results and progress summaries of activities for which they are responsible
Ensure clinical model definition – translation of the intended clinical usage of a device into a definition in quantifiable engineering terms of the operational and environmental conditions that the device must withstand
Participate in risk management and FMEA exercises
Review and contribute to the necessary design input documents
Interface with design, marketing, clinical, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure the product evaluation function is fully integrated within the NPD team
Conduct programmes for extended life / reliability testing of new products
Analyse and report on Customer Enquiries

Our client, a Manufacturing Laboratory dealing with blood and blood components are currently looking for a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor to join their team based in North London on a 6 month contract basis.
Working as a Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, you will supervise a team of more junior staff whilst having some hands on responsibility yourself. Some understanding of blood and blood components either from working in a blood transfusion service of hospital is essential, along with supervisory experience.
The facility operates a rolling shift system – 7am – 3pm and 3pm – 11pm, some weekend working will also be required. The contract is likely to be 6 months + in duration.
