I&E Manager – North East

Barney Smith at CK Science is recruiting for an I&E Manager to join a company that engineering services to the Oil, Gas and chemical industries at their site in the North East of England.

Responsibilities:

As a I&E Manager you will head a small team of engineers where you will be responsible for driving instrumentation maintenance, calibrations, gas detection, and metering services to both established and new clients.  This will include working with clients face to face, scheduling and planning work, staff training and development and hands on metering, maintenance and calibrations.

Qualifications and skills:

The ideal candidate for this I&E Manager role must have a proven track record in I&E engineering and in particular plant maintenance within chemical manufacturing or Oil and Gas.  You must also be happy working in customer facing roles and have the ability to win work and develop business.

Biochemical Engineer Job (Bioreactor) Hertfordshire

Our client, an industry leading Instrument & Systems development organisation, are currently looking for a Biochemical Engineer to join their growing Product Development Teams based at their site in Hertfordshire, UK.

The successful Biochemical Engineer will be joining their Cell Culture division involved in working as part of a multi-disciplinary project team responsible for the development of products such as small-scale bioreactor systems for clients across the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.

Within the project team, your duties will include:

  • Providing a lead in the biochemical design and development on new and existing products.
  • Planning, implementing and analysis of experimental results.
  • Design and execution of test procedures including sourcing and preparing materials for testing new technologies.
  • Culturing of mammalian and mirobial cells as well as running biochemical assays.
  • Visiting research partner sites, when required, to conduct trials.
  • Ensure an effective hand over to the Products Group and a successful production release.

Our client provides consultancy services to the semiconductor industry. They require a Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in the North East of England.

 

Responsibilities:

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for a team of technicians providing installation, maintenance, repair and calibration services to the laboratory, cleanroom and on vendor sites. This will involve planning and scheduling work, staff training, client liaison and handling complaints and queries and heading continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

As a Maintenance Technician will be responsible for calibrating, maintaining, repair and installation of all capital equipment within the laboratory and clean room and also at vendor sites.

I&E Engineer – Calibration – North East, UK

An I&E Engineer is required to join a company which provides consultancy services to the energy and engineering sectors.
