Sarah Farrow at CK Science is recruiting for a Fermentation Scientist to be based in Teesside at an innovative biotechnology company.

The job, which has a permanent contract, would see you being responsible for the preparation of culture media, the set-up and operation of bench-top fermenters and the fermentation of microbial strains in order to achieve maximum yield of bioproducts.

You must be qualified to a minimum of BSc level in life sciences or a relevant field.

GMP Microbial Fermentation Scientist – Staffordshire

Naynesh Mistry is recruiting for an experienced GMP Microbial Fermentation Scientist to join a leading biopharmaceutical company based in Staffordshire on a permanent basis.

The main responsibilities of this role include contributing towards the planning of process development, technology transfer and GMP projects by providing estimates for required resources and schedules. You will also be required to develop and execute manufacturing specifications and Batch Production Records for GMP Production.

The client recruiting is looking for someone with a degree or PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology Engineering or equivalent, with practical experience of GMP fermentation and microbial cell banking.
