Design Engineer Job (Electronics, Optical) – London

Our client, a leading Instrumentation manufacturer specialising in Industrial Monitoring equipment, are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join their Production & Development facilities based at their site in London, UK.

Responsibilities:

Working as a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of industry leading optical sensor technology for use in Industrial industries. Your duties will include design and layout of analogue control circuits; producing prototypes of circuit components and final designs; testing of electronic components as well as working closely with internal teams (Development, Production) and external customers throughout the design process.

Person Specification:

To be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Electronics Engineering or a relevant discipline (or equivalent) and demonstrated experience in an Electronic Design Engineer function including both analogue and digital design skills gained within an Instrumentation or related Technology industry. Experience of Opitcal technology would be advantageous, but it is not essential.

They require an Process Development Engineer to lead and motivate their team of consulting engineers and scientists in successfully undertaking projects from a wide variety of clients, in the areas of process development and device fabrication, both on site and at client premises.

To be considered for this Process Development Engineer, you must be qualified to minimum HNC/HND level in a materials science or electronic engineering related subject or possess equivalent industrial experience.
