Jason Johal is currently recruiting for a Technical Support Manager to join a successful Pharmaceutical Company based in Hertfordshire in a newly created role.
As a Technical Support Manager this role will involve working on a variety of medicines and healthcare products, the planning and co-ordinating technical issues within Manufacturing and Supply Chain, to eliminate problems affecting continuity of supply. You will be responsible for providing timely technical input to internal and external third parties to resolve supply issues, as well as reviewing and approving technical documentation in support of existing and new products. This role will also involve co-ordinating the implementation of manufacturing site transfer projects, which may result from process changes, line extensions or new products.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the generation and review of technical documentation, including SOPs, batch manufacturing records, specifications, validation protocols and reports etc,
- To support new and existing products and the coordination and generation of Product Quality Reviews for existing marketed products.
The ideal candidate for this Technical Support Manager role will be degree qualified (or equivalent) and will have extensive technical and/or production experience gained in a pharmaceutical supply or manufacturing environment. It is essential that the ideal candidate has knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, process development and validation, analytical techniques and analytical method validation.
