CK Group are recruiting for a Technical Support analyst to join a biopharmaceutical company within their animal health business at a site based in Exeter on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary:

Hourly up to £21.14 PAYE basis

Technical Support Analyst Role:

  • Close liaison with Product team, innovation team to ensure customers are well supported.
  • Planning projects from a systems perspective to ensure that the correct equipment and materials are dispatched to sites ready forinstallation.
  • Plan their day-to-day activities in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
  • Installation of product portfolio on sites across the UK and Globally.
  • Training customers and colleagues in the use, installation and maintenance of products
  • Working with the Leadership team to ensure appropriate risk assessments and method statements are in place.
  • Call out visits to site both planned and reactive to sites to repair/ replace non functioning devices.
  • Maintain and buildyour professional competence in the Poultry industry by keeping up to date with industry news, developments and research.

Your Background:

  • Knowledge and experience of poultry production systems, or agriculture livestock systems..
  • Ability to remotely advise customers on repairs and maintenance of client products.
  • Ability to repair, maintain and upgrade products both remotely and on site.
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team to maintain, install and service client products across the UK and globally.
  • An in depth understanding of the KPI’s used in production systems and how these will impact on our customers.
  • Wide-ranging and sound communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt and evolve within a rapidly changing market environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with a cross functional team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others without line management authority.

Location:

This role is field based with 3-4 days per week travelling to various sites with the remaining days in the office, in Exeter. If the candidate is willing to travel to site, their home location is irrelevant but anywhere from the M62 down would work. The position will involve significant travel throughout the rest of the UK and on occasions, globally. Due to the locations of some of the sites this position will involve overnighttrips too.
