CK Group are recruiting for a Technical Administrator to join a scientific laboratory equipment services company who work with clients in the life sciences industry across the UK on a temporary basis.

The Company:

My client is a multi-national laboratory equipment service company who work with the science community helping to maintain scientific laboratory equipment.

Location:

This role will be based in Stevenage, UK.

The Role:

As a Technical Administrator you willbe responsible for the management of work orders for asset registrations and asset updates via the computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will work closely with all members of the Customer Services and wider Scientific Services teamsto provide a proactive and focused approach efficiently meeting and advancing the business needs.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for the administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuringthe update and closure of Non-Engineering Activity work orders in order to meet and exceed agreed contractual metrics
  • Work in conjunction with the compliance team to ensure all Third-party contractors are approved for scope of work with regard to asset updates and asset registrations
  • Provides regular updates to the customer requesting work in a timely fashion
  • Ensure all compliant documentation are stored and E-archived according to GxP and GDP practices
  • Assist in the preparationfor audits. Retrieve documentation for inspection purposes
  • Report any scheduling failures to the local scheduler and or customer (as required) in order to reschedule

Your Background:

  • Good Educational Background and proven administrativeexperience
  • Experience of working with CMMS databases
  • Excellent understanding of Customer Care
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge or experience of Life Science Industry preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of GxP preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise own workload
