Biotransformation Scientist

CK Group are recruiting for a Biotransformation Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough on a contract basis initially for 12 months.

Salary:

Hourly: £20.00 PAYE or £27.00 Umbrella

Biotransformation Scientist Role:

• Generate LC-HRMS metabolite profiling data from the analysis of in vitro & in vivo samples
• Efficiently generate, report and disseminate data to Biotransformation representatives
• Design and execute biotransformation-based assays to address key issues
• Take responsibility for the maintenance of LC-MS systems within the group
• Develop analytical methods for new chemical modalities

Your Background:

• BSc, MSc or PhD in chemistry or biochemistry or relevant experience
• Previous industrial experience in the area of drug discovery
• Experience in high resolution mass spectrometry and chromatography experience (HPLC, uHPLC, LC-HRMS) of small molecules.
• An understanding of biotransformation pathways of NCEs
• Experience in general in vitro lab skills
