Victoria Walker at CK Group is recruiting for a Technical Business Development Manager to join a coatings manufacturing company based in South Yorkshire, on a full time, permanent basis. Please note that this role will be split approximately 70% in terms of business development, customer & supplier liaison and 30% lab based formulation and development.

As a Technical Business Development Manager, the main purpose of your role will be to grow the company's new business in the market of water based adhesives and construction coatings.

Further responsibilities of this Technical Business Development Manager will be:

  • technical formulation development of new products
  • new business development
  • technical support
  • customer liaison
  • developing an understanding of customer applications
  • assisting with customer trials
  • liaising with suppliers

As a Technical Business Development Manager, you will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Proven industrial experience within and knowledge of the water based adhesives and construction coatings industry
  • Formulation development experience
  • Commercial and business acumen
  • Customer focused background
