CK Group are recruiting for a Sample Receipt Technician to join a company in the animal health and pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Speke on a contract basis for 12 months.

Salary:

between £12.02 and £15.03 per hour PAYE

SampleReceipt Technician Role:

  • Manage receipt, storage and disposal of all samples in the laboratory (final product and stability), ensuring all documentation is maintained to GMP standards and samples are received into the Darwin system in a timelymanner.
  • Ensure all reference samples are stored and documented in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Perform packaging inspections on various packaging items and document.
  • Data entry and/or approval in Darwin.
  • Purchasing and storesorders for the labs, tracking expenditure and raising any potential overspends with Laboratory Leader.

Your Background:

  • Experience in a laboratory and GMP environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience using Darwin system would be advantageous.
  • Good communication skills, able to work in a team and their own as well.

Criteria

Education, Experience & Achievements

Essential

  • A relevant postgraduate research degree or equivalent professional experience in the field of carbohydrate material science.
  • Previous experience of independent research.
  • Presentations at conferences and a track record of publications in respected journals or equivalent in the field.

Desirable

  • Research experience in polysaccharide and their industrial applications.
  • Involvementin packaging material research and development.
  • Materials formulation and characterisation expertise.
