Julie Marshall at CK Science is recruiting for a Research Biologist to join a global company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Hertfordshire on a contract basis for 1 year.

The main purpose of the role will be to:

Design, conduct and report on in vitro experiments utilising a variety of techniques, including human cell culture. Evaluate novel compounds and determine mechanistic aspects of cellular protein degradation.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

PhD in Biological Sciences or equivalent. Direct, hands-on experience and competence in cell culture, Western blotting, ELISA and other standard laboratory methods. You will possess excellent planning, data analysis and communication skills as well as possess a sense of urgency with the ability to interact and work effectively with other team members and collaborating groups in an exciting and innovative state of the art drug discovery environment. Experience in ubiquitin-proteasomal pathway biology is preferred.
