Sarah Farrow is recruiting for a Reagent Scientist to join a rapidly expanding medical diagnostics company at their site in Stirling on a permanent basis. The company have recently invested in state of the art new facilities, and have ambitious plans for commercialising multiple new products within the next 12 months. Joining a team of technical experts, you will have the opportunity to get involved in exciting new product development projects. You will be responsible for the development of on-strip dry reagents as part of the assay development team. This will involve following complex procedures for the preparation of both antibody conjugates and antibody-coated microparticles. Additional responsibilities will include the development of in-process tests for each reagent and training junior staff in these processes.

To be considered for the position you should have experience and knowledge of coupling chemistries for the functionalisation of nanoparticles with antibodies or enzymes. You should have an understanding of coupling chemistries for forming antibody-drug conjugates and the characterisation techniques used for assessing their performance.
