Quality Assurance Specialist - Berkshire
Julie Marshall at CK Science is recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join a Quality Management Team for a global company in the Berkshire region on contract basis for 12 months.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
Manage, own and lead the Operational Quality/Quality Assurance Processes, including finished product batch release, to enable the site to meet GMP and Food Safety standards and customer and regulatory requirements. Ensure effective risk based quality oversight of all operational areas to confirm adherence to quality processes and standards through management of two direct and two indirect reports who operate on shift.
Further responsibilities will include:
Finished product batch review and release, including verification that quality/safety critical checks are effective within production and laboratory areas. Quality Incident and Deviation Management processes, including direct support on shift. Technical Change and Concessions processes.Supplier Assurance and Pest Management. Site Validation process. Being responsible for ensuring delivery of training, applying Root Cause Analysis (problem solving) and Corrective and Preventative Action processes, performance of the Recall Simulation, conducting internal audits, generation of Quality KPIs and involvement in HACCP reviews.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree (or equivalent) in a Science Subject with experience of working within a Quality Team within the Food or Pharmaceutical industry. Experience of leading Quality Assurance processes is required and knowledge of regulatory requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global company in the Berkshire region.
