Julie Marshall at CK Science is recruiting for a Shift QC Analyst to join an FMCG company in the Berkshire region on a contract basis until September 2015 (this may be extended)

The main purpose of the role will be to:

Conduct routine testing of materials using your Analytical Chemistry skills and instrumentation. Ensure all materials and components used or produced meet specification. Work within the defined systems and procedures to ensure compliance with company polices and regulatory standards. Ensure customer service levels are met and issues are communicated as soon as possible. Be a team player and build effective working relationships across all departments and at all levels of the business.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

BSc/MSc or equivalent in Chemistry or related subject. Previous experience conducting routine testing using but not limited to, HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution. You will have a good understanding and knowledge of working to GMP standards.

The shift pattern is as follows: Week 1: Mon-Fri 06:00-14:30, Sat-Sun: Off Week 2: Mon-Tues: 13:30-22:30, Wed-Fri: Off, Sat-Sun: 06:00-18:00 Week 3: Mon-Tues: Off, Wed-Fri: 13:30-22:30, Sat-Sun: Off
