CK Group are recruiting for a QA Releaser to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes, based in Oxford on a contract basis for 12 months.

Shift pattern working 7am-3pm or 10am-6pm.

Salary:

  • 18.78 ph PAYE

QA Releaser Role:

  • Release of manufactured products according to defined procedures.
  • Perform ‘in-process’ checks, report and report any errors according to defined procedures.
  • Communicate with the warehouse team in regards to timings of released products to ensure efficient dispatch.
  • To ensure that all documentation is complete and kept in a tidy and orderly manner
  • Audits carried out weekly in areas such as the clean-room, preparation room and label and release, to ensure SOP and GDP are followed correctly.

Your Background:

  • Maths and English GCSEs or equivalent, Science degree would be advantageous
  • Ability to complete records accurately and with sufficient detail using Good Documentation Practice
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Experience as Compounder and/or Inspection Technician or in a quality release role
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Good IT literacy (Excel/Word/Powerpoint) – essential, ideally with knowledge and experience of using SAP
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in chemistry/ quality/ a manufacturing related discipline would be advantageous
  • Good problem solving skills, builds rapport quickly with the ability to motivate and lead
  • Supervisory or team lead experience would be beneficial

Education, Experience & Achievements

Essential

  • A relevant postgraduate research degree or equivalent professional experience in the field of carbohydrate material science.
  • Previous experience of independent research.
  • Presentations at conferences and a track record of publications in respected journals or equivalent in the field.

Desirable

  • Research experience in polysaccharide and their industrial applications.
  • Involvementin packaging material research and development.
  • Materials formulation and characterisation expertise.
