CK Group are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operator to join a company in the animal health and pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Speke on a contract basis for 5-6 months.

Salary:

up to £16.00 per hour PAYE

Manufacturing Operator Role:

  • Responsible for plant operation, material receipts warehousing, product dispatch and associated documentation.
  • Responsible for cGMP manufacture of products.
  • Complying with cGMP requirements by following SOPs and accurate documenting of activities.
  • Use process control systems.
  • Perform day-to-day operation of manufacturing plant through computer controlled (SAP) and manual operations meeting cGMP requirement.

Your Background:

  • Good GMP manufacturing experience
  • Experience of manufacturing facilities pharma or food focusing on Safety, Quality and Performance
  • Pro active
  • FLT advantageous

Your Background: The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Minimum of a Masters Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent, strong preference will be give to candidates who hold a Ph.D.
  • 6+ years experience in technology development, including 3+ years managing a team
  • Demonstrable laboratory experience including supervisory/management experience
  • In depth knowledge of the product development process, ideally evidence of progressing projects from proof of concept to commercialisation
  • Experience in the use of project management tools, e.g. GANTT charts
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of scientists towards a common goal
  • Demonstrable experience of leading industrial validation trials
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable dealing with people of all levels both within the business and externally
  • Willingness to travel, both internationally and within the UK
