Jade Stirk at CK Group is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a leading Life Science organisation at their state of the art facility located in Livingston on a contract basis.

The Company: Due to continued growth of our client's business they are looking for proactive, experienced and enthusiastic individuals who can help make a significant contribution to the continued success of the business.

Location: This role is located at their state of the art facility based in Livingston. There are good transport links and the site is easily accessible from the M8. Livingston is a great place to live and work and is easily commutable from Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Role: As a Laboratory Technician you will be supporting the research and development team by:

  • Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
  • Making reagents.
  • Performing a range of diagnostic tests.

Your Background: You will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Qualification in a biological subject.
  • Good aseptic technique experience from academia or industry.
  • Good communication skills.
