Julie Marshall at CK Science is recruiting for a Laboratory Technician to join a Sample Management Team as part of a global Pharmaceutical company in the Essex region on a contract basis for 4 months.

The main purpose of the role will be to:

Perform the accurate weighing/measurement of compounds with attention to detail. Be responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment plus the operation of large scale automated equipment. Work to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment of moderate complexity. Assist with the acquisition of physico chemical and related information and to generate accurate test data in a GLP accredited testing facility.In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

Degree (or equivalent) in a Science subject with previous laboratory experience managing samples would be advantageous.A level (or equivalent) in maths/science would be beneficial.

The anticipated hours are 8.30am – 4.30pm.
