Jade Stirk at CK Science is recruiting for a Laboratory Scientist to join a well known charity at their site in North West London on an initial 3 month contract.

The Company: Our client is a well known charity that saves the lives of people with blood cancer. They match donors willing to donate their blood stem cells to people who desperately need life saving transplants. This role will be supporting their life-saving work.

Location: This role is located in North West London, and is easily commutable from Hampstead Heath overground station, or Belsize park underground station.

The Role: As a Laboratory Scientist you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective antibody screening service. You will assist with technical support and advice for blood typing assays and quantification processes. You will also play an active part in the creation and review of quality documentation.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • A BSc (or equivalent) in a Biomolecular Science or a closely related subject
  • A minimum or 2 years experience working in a laboratory
  • Working knowledge of ELISA techniques
