Julie Marshall at CK Science is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Analyst/Assistant in Sussex, to join a Physical Testing laboratory on a temporary basis for 6 months.

Your main responsibilities in this role will be to:

Carry out laboratory analysis and associated tasks as required, to support the laboratory team in order to provide an effective analytical service. Maintain effective working relationships with section, customers and suppliers and actively contribute to improvement initiatives within the laboratory group and cross-functional teams. Record and check analytical data in compliance with local and company regulations.

You are required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

BSc/MSc (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related subject. Experience or knowledge of using and operating analytical instruments, including HPLC, GC, dissolution, wet chemistry. Candidates with lesser academic credentials, who can show an interest in and an aptitude for practical scientific work, may also be considered.
