CK Science are recruiting for an In Vivo Pharmacologist to join a well-funded biotech start-up company, focused on novel cancer and autoimmune disease therapy discovery, who are entering a fast-growth track and expanding their team now in Greater Boston. This role is on a full time, permanent basis.

The Company: Our client is leading the way in a new generation of IO treatment. They are expanding and have an exciting portfolio of projects that could create the next major advance in Cancertreatment.

Position Overview: The candidate will lead the vivo research platform that will include therapeutic target discovery and validation, drug discovery, translational biology and indication expansion for assets in our core scientific areasof cancer and immune-oncology. The candidate should be strongly grounded in basic science and scientifically driven with a strong scientific background and laboratory skills in immunology and/or autoimmunity, and broad experience developing therapeutic approaches using in vivo models.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Biological Science, M.Sc. in Biological Science with 5-7+ years of industry research experience, OR B.Sc. in Biological Science with 8+ years industry research experience and a track record of delivery within in vivo pharmacology
  • Knowledge of mouse models of inflammation and/or autoimmunity, animal care and use procedures, and hands on experience in small animal care with proficiency in subcutaneous, intravenous, and intraperitoneal dosing
  • Experience with tissue processing, FACS-based phenotyping, and functional analysis of immune cells using multicolor flow cytometry and ELISpot
