Julie Marshall at CK Science is recruiting for an Imaging Research Scientist to join an Imaging Team in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Hertfordshire on a contract basis until June 2016.

The main purpose of the role will be to:Support the provision of reagents and assays for multiple stages of drug discovery, from early stage target definition and hit identification through to late stage candidate selection and pre-clinical mechanism of action studies.

You will have experience and knowledge:

With imaging assays and software packages for high content image acquisition and analysis. Of Cell biology and intracellular signalling. Of Mammalian cell culture (immortalised and primary cells), including the use of transient transfection and viral transduction technologies.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

BSc or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area.Knowledge of pharmacological principles and the ability to interpret quantitative data sets from compound profiling experiments is preferred. Experience with imaging assays and software packages for high content image acquisition and analysis.This is an excellent opportunity to join a global company in the Hertfordshire region.
