Fermentation Scientist - Speke, Merseyside
CK Group is recruiting for a Fermentation Scientist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Liverpool on a contract basis for 12 months.

The role will be based at our clients site in Speke, an area of Liverpool close to the boundaries of the Metropolitan Borough of Knowsley. It is 7.7 miles south east of the city centre making it easily accessible via car and boasts great public transport links.
The Role: The Fermentation Scientist, will be responsible for the experimental programme to deliver the fermentation development technical agenda. The core role will be design, direction and analysis of experiments in the 20 L fermentation facility which is operated by a team of Process Technicians. Key Skills:
- Ability to design sound experiments
- Ability to clearly communicate experimental execution requirements
- Ability to analyse experimental data
- Good understanding of statistical analysis techniques
- Ability to make recommendations and decisions based on sound data
- Ability to write clear and concise technical reports to capture key learning
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
Your Background: To succeed in this role you will hold a degree in a scientific subject or have equivalent working experience and have worked in fermentation development or fermentation process operations.
