James Horne at CK Science is recruiting for an Electrophoresis Technical Assistant to join a medical diagnostics company at their manufacturing facility located in Sunderland, on a full-time and permanent basis.

The main purpose of the role will be to perform electrophoresis investigations in line with the appropriate procedures and guidelines.

Further responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate laboratory records.
  • Routine maintenance of instrumentation.
  • Create and update validation protocols.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Qualification in a life science subject.
  • Knowledge or interest in electrophoresis, ideally gel electrophoresis.
  • High attention detail and able to work effectively with others.
