Electrochemical Engineer - Billingham
Sarah Farrow is recruiting for an Electrochemical Engineer on behalf of a multinational manufacturer of speciality chemicals, at their site in Billingham on a permanent basis. In this new assignment, you will be responsible for application testing and quality control testing of battery materials. This will include:
- Hands on product testing, providing critical support to the rapid product and process development activities associated with Nickel based cathode technology
- Maintenance of rigorous and traceable QC documentation.
- Providing input to the generation of standardised electrochemical performance reports, and extracting key insights to contribute to product release sign off.
To be considered for the position you should be qualified to PhD level, or possess equivalent experience, in electrochemistry or another related field. Experience in processing Nickel battery materials into electrodes, and assessing their performance electrochemically would be highly beneficial for this role, although not essential as training can be provided.
You should have demonstrable experience in handling large data sets and generating high quality reports.
