Jade Stirk at CK Science is recruiting for a Downstream Process Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical company at their facility located in Liverpool on an initial 12 month contract.

The Company:

Our client is a global pharmaceutical company who focus on developing, manufacturing and commercialising innovative branded pharmaceutical and biologic products.

The Role:

Working within Process Sciences you will perform a wide range of activities associated with the design, development, scale-up, technical transfer and validation of cGMP clinical manufacture of bulk drug substances expressed from mammalian, viral or microbial expression systems.

Your Background:

  • A BSc in Biopharmaceutical Science or relevant experience
  • Proven industrial experience within the field of bioprocess development,
  • Experience in scale-up and process development
  • Experience working in a cGMP manufacturing
  • A good understanding of process and equipment qualification and validation.
