Development Scientist - Surrey
Julie Marshall at CK Science is recruiting for a Development Scientist to join a company in the Consumer Healthcare industry at their site based in Surrey on a contract basis for 12 months.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
Support new product development with leading-edge analytical and/or formulation experience to develop and lead new product initiatives in consumer healthcare. Work on the development of new products, following requirements outlined in business strategies, taking into account scientific and timing objectives. Apply leading-edge science to develop, validate and support in vitro and/or analytical methods to support formulation development and provide support for product claims. (This may include pioneering new technology routes against agreed project deliverables and timings). Assist Development Scientists in defining and implementing innovative solutions for assigned activities, balancing achievement of milestones with high quality standards.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree/MSc or PhD (or equivalent) in Formulation Science or related subject. Previous experience of conducting Formulation and/or analysis of oral care products at all stages of the development process is required. Experience in semi-solid formulation and/or ion chromatography would be advantageous.
