CK Group are recruiting for a Chromatography Supervisor to join a company that provide scientific and technical support to the food and drink industry worldwide through a wide range of analytical testing and research activities. This position will bebased at their site in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.

Location:

This Chromatography Supervisor role is located in Gloucestershire on the edge of the Cotswold's and the site is easily commutable from surrounding areas such as Cheltenham and Worcester.

Chromatography Supervisor Role:

Your main duties will be to:

  • Design and develop methodology using LC/MS/MS, HPLC and GC/MS/MS for the analysis of trace components/contaminants in food and drink and undertake chemical contaminants research and analyses including samples receipt.
  • Liaise withclients on a regular basis including agreeing contracts with clients, establishing contract price, interpreting and reporting results
  • Train and Supervise Junior Analysts and develop bespoke methods to meet specific client needs based on available literature.

Your Background:

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant scientific field.
  • The ability to undertake complex and non-routine testing with no or minimum supervision and competent in both GC-MS/MS and LC-MS/MS analytical techniques.
  • The ability to manage a small team and to negotiate with potential customers and develop new business
