Natalie Wood is recruiting for a Chemist to join a busy analytical laboratory, testing various oils and gases, in Lincolnshire on a permanent basis.

The role requires large degrees of flexibility with regards to working hours. There is a continuous stream of work, but some weeks will be busier than others, so flexibility is essential.

In this position you would be testing various oils/fuels/gases using a wide range of analytical techniques, such as GC, HPLC, XRF and wet chemistry. Full training is provided, but previous experience of working in a laboratory setting is desirable, and a strong desire to work in this field is essential for this position.

To be considered for the position you will ideally be qualified to degree level, or have equivalent experience in chemistry or a related subject. You must have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as a team. Experience of Oil, Gas, or other Chemical analysis encompassing a broad spectrum of methods and analysis would be advantageous. You will possess effective interpersonal, team working and organisational skills. Knowledge and experience of process management and chemical optimisation would be beneficial.
