Naynesh Mistry is currently recruiting for an EU Business Development Manager (HOME BASED ROLE) to work within the Diagnostics division of a global contract development and manufacturing organisation based in Armagh Northern Ireland, on a full time, permanent basis. This client is an established contract development and manufacturing organisation that provides an extensive range of integrated services to over 600 companies globally within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors.

This is a HOME BASED ROLE and offers competitive salary plus excellent benefits (20% bonus, pension, healthcare and more).

Main role: The EU Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for sales and market development of diagnostics partnership business to a sector of the EU pharma & biotech market

Key responsibilities:

  • Grow Diagnostics' base of business within the EU biotech and pharma sector by selling partnership services; - includes management and expansion of existing key accounts and prospecting for new clients

  • Key account manage existing and new accounts ensuring clients services are provided satisfactorily

  • Develop, and manage a business development plan for sector/region

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Business or Life science)
  • Experience in sales, business development or commercial role in the life sciences sector (ESSENTIAL)
  • BD experience in the biomarker / personalised medicine sector (DESIRABLE)
