Analytical Chemist

This first class graduate is a skilled analytical chemist with experience gained with GSK and more recently HLS as a Senior Study Manager. In her present role she has one reportee and is overseeing in excess of 20 studies in the Formulation and Inhalation Analysis department. She is experienced with analytical method development and validation and has a strong practical and theoretical knowledge of HPLC, LC-MS, GC etc.

She is looking for a new challenging position that will utilise her experiences. She is happy to relocate and is available on one months notice.

QC Scientist

This candidate is an experienced QC Analyst who has carried out qualitative and quantitative analysis for a wide variety of medicines including in process, intermediate, API and stability samples. He is skilled with method development and validation of analytical methods by HPLC and GC and has performed HPLC assay and impurities / degradation product testing; mass balance analysis; equipment troubleshooting; analytical method transfer; stability testing; protocol generation and report writing to GLP standards. Other equipment he is familiar with includes KF, potentiometry, UV, and FTIR.

This candidate is looking for a new role due to redundancy, is available on 2 weeks notice and would happily relocate for a role.

Project Manager

This PhD level candidate is finishing with Abbott Laboratories shortly and in his current role he leads the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes. He also works within manufacturing starting up new API processing and he has led several projects, establishing timelines with API and analytical teams. He has also worked for Pfizer on the Synthesis and development of organic molecules and for GSK doing new routes evaluation on pharmaceutical products and steroids synthesis.

This candidate is a strong Chemist with a good understanding of project management who is looking for a new role due to uncertainty at his current employer.  He would be available to start immediately and though on a higher salary than that on offer would be happy to consider a lower bracket for security and prospects.

Microbiologist

This candidate holds a degree in Microbiology and has experience or working for pharmaceutical companies as a Microbiologist. He is currently working on a temporary contract at The Royal London Hospital where he is working as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. However, from previous roles he has gained an array of strong analytical microbiology skills including growth promotion testing, microbial limit testing, sterility testing, bacterial endotoxin testing, monitoring of water quality, gram staining, surface monitoring, personal monitoring, efficacy of disinfectant, maintenance, sub-culturing of pure culture, environment monitoring by settling plate and air sampling.

This candidate  is available on a two week notice period and will happily relocate for a micro based role
