GSK opens a new €30m facility in Cork

The GSK media site has reported that GlaxoSmithKline has opened a new €30m manufacturing facility at an existing site in Curabinny, Co Cork.

This facility is a state-of-the-art plant, which will manufacture Gantrez, the adhesive used in the company’s Poligrip denture product.

Opening this new site will create 20 new jobs for the Cork area. Finbar Whyte, the GSK Cork site director, said the new facility new facility is an indication of the “key positions” both Cork and Dungarvan play in GSK’s global manufacturing network………and will greatly help secure existing employment at GSK in Ireland.
