CK Science is sponsoring and exhibiting at the upcoming one-day Symposium for Biological and Life Science Students (SymBLS) event for postgraduate students studying at the University of Cambridge and its affiliated institutes.
Taking place on 6th November at St John’s College, Cambridge, this event aims to bring together students and renowned keynote speakers to explore trending topics within the field of life sciences. This year they will be addressing the question ‘does high quality research speak for itself?’ covering themes such as the public perception of science; effective science communication; the rise of pseudoscience; and the acceptance of new controversial scientific ideas.
The program consists of keynote talks (view the keynote speakers here), panel discussions, student short talks, student poster presentation sessions and a scientific image competition. The SymBLS event provides students with the opportunity to present their research, debate current topics and issues, and to develop their network of contacts.
