Britain gets its first Nappy Recycling Plant

The Guardian in reporting that a Canadian company, Knowaste is opening a nappy recycling plant in the Midlands. The plant will initially deal with 30,000 tonnes a year, which represents 4% of the 750,000 tonnes of nappies sent to landfill every year.
