R&D Chemist/Supervisor
This R&D Chemist is currently looking for a new position as the security of his present role is uncertain.
Having worked with fine chemicals for the past 15 years, he is particularly experienced in organics and hazardous chemicals and has routinely developed processes and scale-up experiments.
Having also been involved with the H&S departments both at his current and previous companies, this candidate is ideally looking for a managerial or perhaps safety orientated role.
He is able to consider work commutable from his home in the North West of England but will also consider suitable positions elsewhere, particularly in Yorkshire and the North East.

Managing Director – Manufacturing
This highly skilled candidate is looking for a new role and is able to relocate UK Wide. With vast experience in a manufacturing environment as well as knowledge of the water treatment, agrochemicals, oil & gas and pharmaceutical industries, he is MBA and six sigma qualified amongst other achievements.
He has extensive experience of directing technical teams and is also comfortable with other personnel such as HR management.
Immediately available for work, this candidate is happy to travel overseas and is ideally looking for £60K+ but can be somewhat flexible depending on the role.

Senior Analyst
This candidate is an experienced analyst for the Defence industry with a PhD in Analytical and Forensic Chemistry and MChem in Chemistry with Forensic Science and Toxicology.
She has successfully been promoted in her current role which will unfortunately end due to redundancy in the next couple of months, and is looking for contract or permanent roles nationwide.
She is a certified Six Sigma specialist and has successfully managed a team to deliver results and key objectives. In regards to analytical experience she has a wide range of testing experience in ICP, HPLC, GCMS, UV spectroscopy, IR Spectroscopy and Laser Induced Fluorescence and specialises in electrophoresis. Our client, a leading provider of pharmaceutical dosage form development, is currently seeking to recruit an Analytical Laboratory Manager to work at their site in Nottingham on a permanent basis.
The Analytical Laboratory Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the quality, compliance, efficiency and safety of the food and pharmaceutical laboratory operations are maintained, approve analytical technical reports and other documents, manage and develop teams to ensure quality standards, host client and regulatory audits, develop and improve existing systems and act as a technical advisor.
The ideal candidate for this Analytical Laboratory Manager role will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a scientific subject and have experience within a senior position for the pharmaceutical industry, preferably R&D and/or CRO. An awareness of analytical method development up to Phase 2 CT is also required.
