Working as a Procurement Engineer, your responsibilities will include the sourcing of raw materials & components for the organisation’s development and manufacturing of Battery Chemicals / Technology; management of suppliers including negotiation of unit/bulk prices; provide samples for performance and process compatibility evaluation as well as providing technical / procurement support to Senior Management (CTO, COO, CFO, CEO).

Material Scientist / Engineer Job – Cambridgeshire, UK

Our client, an industry leading Polymer & Materials Manufacturer, are currently looking for several Material Scientists / Engineers to join their growing Materials Qualification Team based from their state-of-the-art facilities in Cambridgeshire.

Working as a Material Scientist / Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Research & Development Team through the testing of a wide range of materials using chemical, physical and mechanical testing (e.g. Creep, Stress, Tensile, Climatic, Humidity, Compression). Your duties will also include vetting external specifications as well as completion of technical documentation during report of results.
