Shift Chemist Job (Chemical) – North East, UK

Our client is an analytical laboratory based in the North East of England. They have a requirement for a Shift Chemist to join their busy analytical laboratory.

Working on a shift rotation you will be required to analyse samples in the laboratory using wet chemistry techniques, GC, FTIR, UV and AA and collect samples and perform on site testing.

The company are a major player in their field and have a policy of promoting from within. They perform a large an unrivalled range of tests and will offer training and development in house.

As a Shift Chemist, you must be qualified to minimum HNC in chemistry or related subject or possess equivalent industrial experience. The work is challenging and you will be required to work in all weather at all times of day. However, the work is rewarding and it would be an excellent opportunity for someone who is flexible and adaptable in their working practice who continually wants to improve.

Maintenance Engineer Job (Instrumentation , Semiconductor) – North East, UK

Our client provides consultancy services to the semiconductor industry. They require a Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in the North East of England.

 

Responsibilities:

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for a team of technicians providing installation, maintenance, repair and calibration services to the laboratory, cleanroom and on vendor sites. This will involve planning and scheduling work, staff training, client liaison and handling complaints and queries and heading continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Process Engineer Job (Development, Semiconductors) – North East, UK

Chemist – North East, UK

A Chemist with experience of catalyst development or chemical engineering is required to join a research & development organisation based in the North East of England. This Chemist job is a part-time position.

The Chemist will work as part of the R&D team on a number of manufacturing based projects up to pilot plant stage. The projects will range from initial reactions to tabletting and will generally involve troubleshooting problems associated with scaling up manufacture.

I&E Engineer – Calibration – North East, UK

An I&E Engineer is required to join a company which provides consultancy services to the energy and engineering sectors.

Analytical Chemist – Newcastle, UK

Analytical Chemist needed to join a major pharmaceutical company based in Newcastle, UK. This Analytical Chemist job is initially a temporary contract, but is likely to lead to a permanent role. There are currently up to 5 Analytical Chemist positions available.

Working as an Analytical Chemist you will carry out chemical testing in accordance with approved methods (including HPLC, FTIR, GC) and in compliance with GMP. As an Analytical Chemist you will also be involved in testing products to pre-determined quality standards to meet customer requirements whilst maintaining the highest level of compliance and current Good Manufacturing Practices.

The successful applicant for this Analytical Chemist job will be ideally qualified to a minimum of ONC in Chemistry and be competent in using techniques such as HPLC, GC and FTIR ideally gained within an industrial environment.
