Our client is a biotechnology company based in the North East of England. They require a manager to run their QC function.

Our client, a leading provider of pharmaceutical dosage form development, is currently seeking to recruit an Analytical Laboratory Manager to work at their site in Nottingham on a permanent basis.
The Analytical Laboratory Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the quality, compliance, efficiency and safety of the food and pharmaceutical laboratory operations are maintained, approve analytical technical reports and other documents, manage and develop teams to ensure quality standards, host client and regulatory audits, develop and improve existing systems and act as a technical advisor.
The ideal candidate for this Analytical Laboratory Manager role will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a scientific subject and have experience within a senior position for the pharmaceutical industry, preferably R&D and/or CRO. A Laboratory Manager is required to join a rapidly expanding waste management organisation based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, UK.
Our client, a rapidly expanding waste management organisation, is currently looking for a Laboratory Manger to oversee a small testing laboratory.
As Laboratory Manager, you will have responsibility for pre acceptance and acceptance of samples whilst maintaining all the appropriate records, carrying out analysis of samples using a variety of analytical techniques including, ICP, XRF, IC, bomb calorimetery, titrations, plus wet chemistry. Working as Laboratory Manage you will also have be responsible for another member of staff, and produce accurate reports to tight deadlines.
The ideal candidate for this Laboratory Manager job will be educated to BSc level or equivalent in a chemistry related subject. This Laboratory Manager role also requires a candidate with industrial experience of a fast moving analytical testing laboratory. Ideally you will have supervisory experience and be used to dealing with customers and clients.
