Device Technologist

Our client is seeking a Technician to work on, initially, a temporary to permanent contract. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting in the manufacture/testing of materials and being involved in the development of test systems. Technical Support Scientist

Our client is a biotechnology company based in the North East of England.  They require a scientist to join their product support team on initially a 6 month contract.  Reporting to the technical services manager you will be responsible for providing clients in both the UK and overseas in providing technical support and troubleshooting.  This will involve travelling to customer sites, providing advice and troubleshooting support and lab testing.

Analytical Chemist – Stability

Our client based in the North East of England is a major biotechnology company and they are seeking a QC Analyst to join their team on a temporary contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.

Duties will include performing sample receipt and analysis (chemical, biochemical and microbiological) against agreed plans on all Stability work plans. The roles are mainly chemistry based and will involve using techniques such as HPLC, SDS-Page, ELISA and UV but some knowledge of microbiology would be beneficial as the role also involves carrying out endotoxin and bioburden testing. Complete documentation to GMP standards.

The successful candidates ideally will be qualified to Degree level in a Chemistry / Microbiology / Biochemistry based subject and have a strong analytical background working to GMP.

Customer Support Technician – Packaging

The successful candidate will be accountable for customer relationships and workload management for the launch of new packaging designs. Working towards demanding deadlines you will coordinate the processing of new pack creations to meet customer requirements. Keeping your clients informed of pack design progress.

Ideally, you will have experience gained in a packaging or relationship management environment and be of graduate calibre. A major part of the role will be liaising with colleagues and clients so excellent communication skills are essential as well as good time management.  English, Polish and Russian language skills are preferable.

Carrie-Ann is looking for a Laboratory/Field Manager to join an environmental land regeneration organisation based in the central belt of Scotland.

Responsibilities:

As a Laboratory/Field Manager you will be responsible for working alongside and leading a small team both in the field and laboratory.  You will be responsible for inorganic analysis on environmental samples.  You must have good laboratory experience and knowledge of molecular and microbiological techniques.

Experience required:

Due to a significant increase in workload they have a requirement for someone to run their sample process laboratory.
