Our client is an innovative device manufacturer based in the North East of England. They require an experienced Technical Manager with experience of running multifaceted projects in X-ray instrumentation for medical imaging and airport security.

Responsibilities:

As Technical Manager, you will use your technical expertise to work closely with customers in delivering development projects on existing products and from scratch. This will involve managing teams, co-ordinating departments and resources, costing raw materials and overall project delivery and technical support.

Candidate requirements:

You must be qualified to minimum BSc in physics or engineering or possess equivalent industrial experience. You must also possess a strong track record in managing projects within X ray or similar technology.

Maintenance Engineer Job (Instrumentation , Semiconductor) – North East, UK

Our client provides consultancy services to the semiconductor industry. They require a Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in the North East of England.

Responsibilities:

As Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for a team of technicians providing installation, maintenance, repair and calibration services to the laboratory, cleanroom and on vendor sites. This will involve planning and scheduling work, staff training, client liaison and handling complaints and queries and heading continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

A Chemist with experience of catalyst development or chemical engineering is required to join a research & development organisation based in the North East of England. This Chemist job is a part-time position.

The Chemist will work as part of the R&D team on a number of manufacturing based projects up to pilot plant stage. The projects will range from initial reactions to tabletting and will generally involve troubleshooting problems associated with scaling up manufacture.
