Naynesh Mistry is looking for a Microbiology Analyst to join a global manufacturer of pharmaceutical and veterinary medicine products company based in Merseyside

Description of the role:

The successful candidate for this Microbiology Analyst role will have a clear understanding of and the ability to work within, strict cGMP guidelines in a busy pharmaceutical Quality Control Lab and will be experienced in the following:

  • Analysis of bio burden and endotoxin present in water, steam and products (powder and aqueous)
  • Identification of microorganisms using standard identification techniques eg Vitek and API
  • Environmental monitoring of ISO Class 8 and 9 Cleanrooms
  • Growth and maintenance of microbiological cultures
  • Preparation and sterilisation of microbiological media
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualification:

The ideal candidate for this Microbiology Analyst role should hold an honours degree in Microbiology (2:1 or above, or Equivalent) and have strong proven industrial experience gained in a GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.  They should also have experience of Smartlab

Microbiologist Job (Pharmaceutical) – Wiltshire, UK

CK Science are currently searching for a Pharmaceutical Microbiologist to join a global CMO based in Wiltshire.

Responsibilities:

As a Pharmaceutical Microbiologist, the main focus of your role will be to carrying out scientific and technical tasks within the Microbiology Quality Control Department.

Your responsibilities will also include performing routine laboratory procedures such as Endotoxin, bioburden and TVC testing. You will be required to develop and validate laboratory procedures within the department and comply with cGMP in all areas of the business.

Person Specification:

For this role you will need a degree in Microbiology or a related discipline (or equivalent), and previous experience in a Pharmaceutical Microbiology laboratory is essential.
