Our client, a major pharmaceutical organisation, is currently seeking to recruit a Process Technologist for a twelve month contract.
The role will involve supporting the delivery of all technical aspects of New Product Introduction and the maintenance of projects in line with company strategies, customer expectations and regulatory compliance. You will also be responsible for experimental factory batches, ensuring projects meet budgets, quality standards and timescales as well as to be the technical interface with customers.
The ideal candidate for the role will be educated to degree level, or equivalent, in Chemistry or a related subject and have experience working within a development or process role within a similar environment.

QC Analyst

Our client, a paints and coatings manufacturing company, is currently looking to recruit an QC Analyst to take responsibility for all Standard QC functions. Laboratory Manager

Device Technologist

CK Science are currently looking for a Medical Device Technologist to work for this pharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire region.
The role is predominantly laboratory based, focused on generating physical characterisation data to input into the design and development processes involved in providing pharmaceutical device delivery systems. As such, the ability to produce and interpret/analyse experimental data, for feedback into the design process is of paramount importance for this role, as well as providing written documentation to support all experimental work carried out.

Scientist

Microbiology Analyst

The candidate will have a clear understanding of and the ability to work within strict cGMP guidelines and will be experienced in the following: Analysis of bioburden and endotoxin present in the water, steam and products; Identification of microorganisms using standard techniques eg. Development Analyst

Our client is seeking a Technician to work on, initially, a temporary to permanent contract. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting in the manufacture/testing of materials and being involved in the development of test systems. Technical Support Scientist

Our client is a biotechnology company based in the North East of England. They require a scientist to join their product support team on initially a 6 month contract. Reporting to the technical services manager you will be responsible for providing clients in both the UK and overseas in providing technical support and troubleshooting. This will involve travelling to customer sites, providing advice and troubleshooting support and lab testing.
You must be qualified to minimum HNC level in a microbiology, biotechnology or relevant engineering subject or possess equivalent industrial experience. You must also be happy to travel worldwide, sometimes at short notice and be comfortable in customer facing roles.

Analytical Chemist – Stability

Our client based in the North East of England is a major biotechnology company and they are seeking a QC Analyst to join their team on a temporary contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent.
Duties will include performing sample receipt and analysis (chemical, biochemical and microbiological) against agreed plans on all Stability work plans. The roles are mainly chemistry based and will involve using techniques such as HPLC, SDS-Page, ELISA and UV but some knowledge of microbiology would be beneficial as the role also involves carrying out endotoxin and bioburden testing. The successful candidates ideally will be qualified to Degree level in a Chemistry / Microbiology / Biochemistry based subject and have a strong analytical background working to GMP.

Customer Support Technician – Packaging

Our client, a blue chip pharmaceutical company located in Durham require a Customer Support Technician to work in their packaging department on a one year contract.
The successful candidate will be accountable for customer relationships and workload management for the launch of new packaging designs. Working towards demanding deadlines you will coordinate the processing of new pack creations to meet customer requirements. Keeping your clients informed of pack design progress.
Ideally, you will have experience gained in a packaging or relationship management environment and be of graduate calibre. A major part of the role will be liaising with colleagues and clients so excellent communication skills are essential as well as good time management.
