The job:
The company have openings for a number of chemists at different levels to work either on days or on shifts in analysing bitumen, oil and petrochemicals.
As a Chemist you will be required to collect samples from external sources which will involve climbing ladders and working in confined spaces. It is a high throughput environment with quick turnaround times and the analysis will involve GC, AA,IR, UV and Karl Fischer.
Qualifications and skills:
The successful applicant for these Chemist roles will receive full training but must have at the very minimum a basic level of understanding of chemistry and ideally commercial lab experience. The ideal candidates will be able to drive, be happy working unsociable hours and be able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
