You can grow marigolds on the moon!

The BBC is reporting that according to the European Space Agency, we will soon be able to grow flowers on the moon. They have shown that marigolds will grow in crushed rock similar to lunar soil, without additional nutrients. This could be seen as a step towards human habitation of the moon. How cool is that?
