CK Science is currently searching for a Protein Chemist to take on and manage, co-ordinate and implement the development of analytical methodologies, assume responsibility for analytical activities and to set and maintain goals and standards of performance for a global pharma company based in Wiltshire.
The ideal candidate for this Protein Chemist position will have relevant industrial experience within Biochemistry, Protein and Peptide analytical techniques, Protein Chemistry and the techniques required for protein characterisation. Essential skills required include ELISA, SDS and IEF.
Experience in the development and validation of analytical methods for the analysis of biopharmaceuticals and peptides and a good understanding of biological (cell based) assays, validated for GMP release and stability testing of biopharmaceuticals are also required. Knowledge of biopharmaceuticals and peptides formulation development would also be desirable.
In addition to this, management experience is preferred but if you have the required techniques and industry experience and are looking to take a step up we would like to hear from you.
