Production Manager – Instrumentation, Hampshire, UK

Our client, a world class Instrument and Consumables organisation, are currently looking for a Production Manager to join their UK Manufacturing facilities based in Hampshire, UK.


Working as a Production Manager, you will be responsible for managing both the Instrument and Consumable production streams (low volume, high value) across all functions including purchasing, goods in, manufacturing, manufacturing engineering, manufacturing control and dispatch.

As Production Manager, your duties will include reviewing and evaluating systems and processes, meeting production targets and being a key player involved in the Lean Conversion using Kaizen methodology.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a global leader in providing specialist instruments and consumables to the Bio-Pharmaceutical, Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries. In return they offer an attractive salary and benefits package.

To be considered for this Production Manager role, you will have a degree in an Engineering discipline (or equivalent), proven practical production management experience including knowledge of managing complete value streams and knowledge of product life-cycles as well as demonstrated knowledge of continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing).
