As reported by The Pharma Times, the global pharmaceutical company, Lilly are to open a new £5.4m research base at their Erl Wood Research and Development centre in Surrey.
130 clinical development scientists will be based at the new Surrey-based research centre and will be working across disciplines such as:
- Data sciences
- Statistics
- Pharmacology
- Pharmacokinetics
- Pharmnacodynamics
The research conducted at the R&D centre will focus on neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, depression and schizophrenia, as well as oncology, diabetes and autoimmune diseases.
