Naynesh Mistry at CK Science is currently recruiting for a Process Technologist to join a leading Food company based in Yorkshire on a permanent basis.

Summary:
Responsible for the process element for the implementation of new and/or improved products or processes working in partnership with the other disciplines involved in the project team following the general principles of project management.

As a Process Technologist you will:
-Assist in managing the interface between Product Development and Manufacturing/Tech services for the deployment of new processes and equipment into plants.
-To lead trials and compile test data on technology (equipment) and processes to validate for new products or cost benefits.
-To test and validate innovative new processes, novel equipment, for process/technologies that would bring advantage to our new products.
-Must interact with internal and some external customers as required to meet customers’ needs, interpret the results and convey^findings to management.
-Must maintain a good knowledge of current manufacturing processes

The successful Process Technologist will have the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
-Degree or HND in Food Science or Food and Nutrition, Diploma in Food Science, Food Manufacturing, equivalent or equivalent
-Experience of food safety and/or HACCP would be desirable
-Experience in food product development or food science related area.
-Experience working in a fast paced New Product Development environment.
-Worked with manufacturing processes.
