Description

Barney Smith is recruiting for a peptide chemist to work on a permanent basis in a contract manufacturing company in based in Teesside. 

As a peptide chemist you will be responsible for synthesising peptides using automated peptide synthesisers and manual procedures, cleave peptides from resin supports, analysis and purification using HPLC and mass spectrometry and carrying out post synthesis modifications.  You will also provide accurate information to sales teams and work directly with and^report back to customers.

For the peptide chemist role you should hold a minimum of a degree in chemistry or possess equivalent industrial experience in peptide synthesis and have excellent communication skills as you will need to work with customers, sales and support teams and technicians.
