Barney Smith is recruiting for a development scientist to work on a permanent contract at a large R&D company based in Teesside.

As a development scientist you will work on developing base metal catalysts using laboratory and pilot scale equipment. The role requires an understanding of the principles of heterogeneous catalysis and proficiency in the techniques of catalyst preparation.

For this development scientist role you must be qualified to minimum degree level in Chemistry or related^subject or possess equivalent industrial experience. You must also have a working knowledge of catalysts and catalytic processes.
